Last updated: [date to be confirmed]. This document is a template prepared for legal review and is not yet final.

Template for legal review. This Cookie Policy is a working draft. Details shown in [square brackets] must be confirmed, the cookie list checked against the live website, and the full text reviewed by a qualified legal adviser before it is relied upon.

1. About this policy

This policy explains how [Legal company name], trading as NERION Hospitality (“NERION”, “we”), uses cookies and similar technologies on this website, and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to work, remember your choices and, where you agree, help us understand how the site is used. Similar technologies, such as local storage and tags, are covered by this policy and referred to here as “cookies”.

3. Our approach

We use strictly necessary cookies only to make the website function and to remember your cookie choices. Optional analytics or marketing cookies are set only if you give your consent, and only once such tools have been configured on the website. Until then, no optional cookies are used. You can change your mind at any time.

4. Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential for the website to work and cannot be switched off. They do not require consent under Article 4(5) of Greek Law 3471/2006 and the ePrivacy Directive.

  • nerion_consent. Provider: NERION (first party). Purpose: stores your cookie preferences so we do not ask you again on every visit. Duration: [12 months, to be confirmed].
  • wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*, wordpress_test_cookie. Provider: NERION (first party, WordPress). Purpose: security and session management for logged-in administrators and editors only. Ordinary visitors do not receive these cookies. Duration: session, or up to 14 days where “Remember me” is selected.
  • wp-settings-*. Provider: NERION (first party, WordPress). Purpose: remembers interface settings for logged-in users only. Duration: up to 1 year.

5. Optional analytics and marketing cookies

If configured, we may use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use the website in aggregate, for example which pages are viewed and how visitors arrive. We use Google Consent Mode, so that analytics and advertising storage remain disabled unless and until you consent. If you decline, these cookies are not set.

  • _ga. Provider: Google (Google Analytics 4). Purpose: distinguishes unique visitors for statistical purposes. Duration: up to 2 years. Set only with consent.
  • _ga_[container ID]. Provider: Google (Google Analytics 4). Purpose: maintains session state for analytics. Duration: up to 2 years. Set only with consent.
  • Marketing cookies [to be listed if introduced]. Provider: [provider]. Purpose: measuring the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. Duration: [duration]. Set only with consent.

Google may process data outside the European Economic Area. Further information is available in Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy and in our Privacy Policy.

6. Changing your preferences

When you first visit the website, you are asked to accept or decline optional cookies. You can review or change your choice at any time by selecting the “Cookie preferences” link in the website footer. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing that took place before you withdrew it.

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the website works, and deleting the nerion_consent cookie means you will be asked for your preferences again.

7. Embedded content

Some pages may include content from third parties, such as maps or videos. Where this content would set cookies, we will load it only with your consent or display a notice before it loads.

8. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy whenever the cookies used on the website change. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the latest update.

9. Contact

For questions about cookies or this policy, contact [Legal company name] at [Privacy contact email] or write to [Registered address].
